Made with Maleny Cuisine Sweet Chilli and Ginger Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • ½ cup Chinese cabbage, shredded
  • 250g pork mince
  • 1 spring onion, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons Maleny Cuisine Sweet Chilli and Ginger Sauce, plus extra to serve
  • 12 wonton wrappers

Method

  1. Heat a dash of vegetable oil over medium heat. Cook the ginger and garlic for one minute, before adding the cabbage and a splash of water. Stir fry for 2–3 minutes or until the cabbage wilts. Remove to a bowl and set aside to cool.
  2. Stir in the pork mince, spring onion, sesame oil and Maleny Cuisine Sweet Chilli and Ginger Sauce. Mix until well combined. Season to taste if needed.
  3. Place a tablespoon of the pork mixture on each of the wonton wrappers. Using water, moisten the outside edges of the wrapper with your finger or a pastry brush. Fold the wrapper over and pinch the edges together.
  4. Use a bamboo steamer with baking paper lining the base, over a pot of boiling water. Steam 6 of the dumplings for 6–10 minutes until cooked. Repeat with the rest of the dumplings.
  5. Serve with the extra Maleny Cuisine Sweet Chilli and Ginger Sauce, or Maleny Cuisine Thai Style Salad Dressing, as a dipping sauce.
